Everyone talks up Bellamy and Robinson as god-like, but lately it seems like a few injuries to their star-studded squads and their teams struggle, with rosters that are still better than ours.

But yes we are definitely on the up I think. I think if Hastings hadn't missed those games earlier in the season we'd be on more than 3 wins, and with key players due back from injury I think we can go on a run.

Roosters have looked ordinary this year. They even lost to the Bulldogs.
Went from the best spine in the comp to half the spine out injured.
Expected.

I don't think they are saying that. They're putting in perspective for those who are challenged to do so. NQ are on a roll - it's hilarious that some think we could poach Payten to come to coach us when he has a team playing so well.

I dunno Mikey, last week the cowboys were only so well due to their draw. Now their a great team and its ok to lose heavily to them.
This game has nothing to do with our season.
Its good to have a sense of hopenin the future.

I'm fine if that's what you believe but although they seemingly have had an easy draw they have proven otherwise re their ability. I also believe it shows the team and Madge are heading in the right direction - It's not perfect but it's so different to last year.

Get the intent on the thread but at the same time we let the Bulldogs score the most points they have scored for ages. We lost to the Warriors, Titans, Knights and Dragons.
Reality is we just had a wooden spoon battle and are 3 wins already out of the 8 (F&A) and not even half way through the season.
With our current squad we aren’t on the up & won’t play finals unless something drastic changes.
The fact we are looking for hope in other teams results says it all really.

Yes, I believe we're getting better, slowly but adding to the team nicely. But last week was a poor performance, despite how good the cows are.

I wouldn't say we were perfect but with I think 12 out injured we didn't do too badly.

Beg to differ. I think he's improved quite a bit since moving to 6.
Even the best squads with the best coaches are compromised if their best players are out - Melbourne and Roosters perfect examples even still with a heap more talent available than we have. We have a squad that already lacks quality and is impacted by injury. We might not be getting the results but the shift in competing is evident.
So do I but geez Jock did a fantastic job there last night
You'd hope so. We are 13th
