Far out! I thought these rep points were given anonymously! Allowing everyone to see who gave who for what is fuel for the fire, I reckon, as is evident by some of the posts above.

Well if you're going to give people a thumbs down it's fair enough you can see who did it. I'm on a huge minus rating and it's all from just two people!

Maybe you should only be able to give either a thumbs up or down if the post is quoted by you….at least thn most will probably have something constructive to say either way, though there will still be those that just use it as a personality tool

Maybe. As I understood it the purpose of the thumbs up/down was to measure the **quality** of the post rather than whether you agreed or disagreed with the content. It seems the majority of the thumbs down are more down to the latter.

Here's my take on what you should call each level:

0-100pts: WTF Tiger cub
100-200pts: WTF Orange Peeler
200-300pts: WTF Benchwarmer
300-400pts: WTF Starter
400-500pts: WTF Regular
500-600pts: WTF Journeyman
600-700pts: WTF Respected Tiger
700-800pts: WTF Leader
800-900pts: WTF Champion
900-1000pts: WTF Legend
1000pts+: WTF Immortal

I'm sure there are some better options for some of them, but it's a start!

Also, just to reiterate for those who struggle to understand

Please use the feature in relation to the QUALITY of the post, not whether you disagree… there is no reason to give someone negative rep because you disagree... Why wreck something which can be a real positive for this site? Comeon...

I dont mind the rep points - its a bit of fun but as soon as I saw people racking up big negatives over nothing you could tell the arguments would start.

As for that Damo clown....if Parra score first on the weekend he's negative rating will go throw the roof. He wont be able to help himself.

within the first 5 mins there will be a post "moltzen is a flake" or "tigers top 4 pfffftt"

Golden is another one who can go to water pretty quickly during the game. I've never seen someone go from getting ready to burn all their supporter gear to getting ready to buy GF tickets so quickly!!

They are there so others can give you points…regardless of what points you have, look at others and youll see how it works

Have you thought about
rewardin users by dreamteam and tipping,
Example. A win in dream team = 2 reputation points
Winning the comp = 30 points

and Posts that get over 50 comments = 3 reputation points
or something like that? Just a thought but

I feel it is too long. It is not abnormal to come online in the morning and read more than one quality post.

Hey, just a quick question. I tried to give rep points to a positive post tonight and a window came up saying "you must spread your reputation points to other users before giving to the same user". I have only given points to this particular user one other time and it was over a week ago, whereas I have seen some people give points to the same users several times over. Can someone tell me what's going on here?

I like the idea if people DONT give out negatives just because they disagree with the post.
