That's no fun though… hopefully the next iteration won't have everyone be so precious about it. I still wana see a system which involves a lottery format, stealing points from other users, donating points to uses etc

i agree mike. other than for breaking forum rules, there is no reason why ppl should get negative rep pts. and any posts that break the rules should be deleted anyway. so why not just bring back positive points only? i think in general they made people strive to write posts that added more value to the WTF

Some of his negs defied logic - as if he'd just randomly picked a post of your to neg. But hey, thats the other beautiful thing about the rep system - you can just do it like that if you want to, and you could have been randomly positive if you wanted to.

Nonetheless, I think the no rep system works better - people aren't guarded with opinion for fear of being negged down.
