To further my original post last evening just look at the media commentary referencing Wests Tigers this morning by so called " staff writers". It's a disgrace to the craft of journalism. References to Stephen Bradbury moments; Broncos laying down ?; worst team in comp; and Star being shopped around to rival clubs. It is concerted relentless undermining of the Club at every turn. Wests official should call it out for what it is. Disgraceful and puerile conduct by the Fox organisation. ..... I suppose it fits with their view about the myth of the Covid pandemic and the Climate change "hoax" .
I could go on. .....

I haven't seen it, but is the Stephen Bradbury reference by any chance to that one try in particular that Nofo scored, rather than the win as a whole? Because that wouldn't be quite as bad.

Warren Smith used to attend balmain games at Leichardt he was on the Fan talking about it they were laughing as he had a pair of binoculars while watching the game

It may be true, but was it seriously necessary to add in if it wasn’t part of Parker’s quote?

I wonder what that makes the Broncos?

I just teared up watching the 2005 GF.
Been supporting the Magpies and Tigers since 1970 and I never expected to see them win a premiership.
Any future success is all an unexpected bonus.

Steve Bradbury won when his opponents laid down. That is exactly what the Broncos did yesterday. They are a basket case and only Canterbury are currently in their way of a second consecutive wooden spoon. No wonder the fury being generated by Fox which has a financial interest.

Ennis was death riding us the entire game. When Warren Smith pointed out we had scored 32 points to 6 in the second half - his whole Brisbane has been the better side for most of the game arguement made him sound like a complete douche'. Both sides have plenty of room for improvement and the one sided commentary is amusing now, but during the contest was infuriating.

Bloke doesn't know what he's talking about. Fox have really got it wrong, the ex-player "talent" they've committed to in 2021. Ennis is arrogant, Cronk is insufferable, Corey Parker is a top-grade jibberer. Braith Anasta is just a complete moron; though apparently he's a really nice guy, still a moron.

At least Blocker Roach, yes he gibbers a bit, but it's borne out of his passion for rugby league and if you get around his voice, he actually makes interesting and unique comments.

The Fox callers are fine. And I think Greg Alexander is the best analyst Fox has.

Blocker is just as bad, if not worse. Ennis is terrible. His fake excitement has alwaysc bemused me.

I think it can be agreed that with very few exceptions, having ex-players as commentators results in utopia for the lobotomised.

Somewhat surprisingly, Billy Slater has impressed me. Despite being a cheap shot proponent on the field, he comes across as fairly likeable and his analysis and knowledge of the game are streets ahead of most others. I put Sterlo in a similar category - they discuss the play rather than trying to be funny.

Joey and Fittler have a wealth of information but shroud it in stupidity.

Ennis, Anasta, Parker, Thaiday, Lockyer, Thurston, Vautin, Tallis etc add nothing except a well known face. Time for a rebuild.

My favourite face is Danika.

Hard to disagree with any of that - well put.

I'd add in Cronk to the second list there also - had higher hopes since he was such a "smart" player, and thought he'd bring some good unbiased insight, but he's not a natural presenter, to say the least. And it looks as though he's easily led by the other nuffies, fast becoming a clone of them. I swear the Fox guys above all blend into one these days..
