Fox Sports website

Used to love it, but ever since they got it exclusive to subscribers, its made nearly every article un-readable and bloody annoying. I know they're trying to make a living out of it, but i expect internet news for free now! I'm happy to pay for a paper/my foxtel sports subscription!

Anybody else share my sentiments towards this?? :brick:

yep, avoid that news.com.au crap. stupid subscription.

Pro tip, google the headline and you can often find it free elsewhere forums, subsidary papers etc.

ha ha… yep, it is my main go to sports site and with that stupid logging in stuff i thought i would be okay because of my foxtel subscription, but now no videos ever seem to play and looking at it on my ipad it is all glitchy and chit...

its annoying. anyone know a good alternative site?

giving http://www.skynews.com.au/sport/ a trial run now...

UPDATE: ugh. videos just buffer eternally for me... :frowning:

Yeah, just change **foxsports**.com.au/league/blahblahblah
to **news**.com.au/league/blahblahblah

Or use http://www.news.com.au/sport/nrl which will show all news stories from couriermail.com.au dailytelegraph.com.au etc

Basically if you are locked out on any story from News Ltd simply change the first part to **news**.com.au

Or use Private Browsing/Incognito on your browser and peruse till your hearts content as its all cookie based stuff.

I do the same thing for http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-league just use private browsing and you will never be locked out.

Its very easy to bypass, its just a shame that so many people will pay what the sites asks for.

Yeah but sadly I THINK ITS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE (CAPS SORRY) these sites r asking us to pay too.

Until they lock it down further there will always be a way. Right now the paywall is so basic its almost non existent.

Don't worry, the alternative sites will continue to improve as more traffic heads their way.

Depends on the browser you are using, in Firefox its "New Private Window", in Chrome is "Incognito", in Internet Explorer its "InPrivate Window".
