Friday nights crowd?

Hoping for a massive crowd, both teams coming off the bye, both supporter bases are massive, all hungry for a huge game, the crowd SHOULD be HUGE.

anyone have inside info into what the crowd will be like? doesn't seem to be a lot of marketing going on from the Wests Tigers to advertise the game..

I think the fact that origin 3 is on this week will keep the pressure off the team and they should be up to the challenge if they all show up to play!

Can't wait!

To be completely honest, I would be really disappointed if the crowd was anything less than 30k, but I'm being realistic, I'd say 27k.

Our supporter base has a tendancy to be fickle when it comes to games like this

could that be due to the blood that was shed by supporters from previous encounters with bulldogs fans, eg in 2006 ?

Maybe but I am not talking about the Dogs specifically. Just bloclbuster games coming off a few losses

swans v GWS got 22,565 on saturday night. id be happy enough if we beat that

That's atrocious… And the GWS got 7,000 to their first home game at Skoda (granted it was terrible weather).

We'll beat it for sure. The Tigers are offering $5 kids GA tickets. Should get some extra bums on seats

25k should be realistic. Anything close to 30k would be sensational.

And most of them were Richmond fans judging from the audio I heard…

I live on the gold coast and I've been in sydney for the week. So this week I've seen adds in the paper and adds on the radio repetitively talking about the game on Friday night. It always seems like its the clubs fault if there is a poor crowd. At the end of the day the club can't make people show up to the game.

Oh no no, I have complete respect for the way things are run in the offices at camp concord, I've been lucky enough to go behind the scenes to see how it's all run once, and I understand all the work that goes into everything.

I'm basically putting this thread out there to see how the fans on here are treating this game, and how they will respond, hopefully in force come Friday.

I was going to be there this friday but I tore the patella tendon in my knee the other so I've gotta stay off my feet til i see the surgeon next week. spewing big time..

Yep, we'll be there. GO TIGERS!!

Looking forward to reading the live game thread tomorrow! :unamused:
