Fullback, Brooks, Nofaluma, Right edge D and goalkicking...

We have said this for years.

But nothing will change until those core issues are addressed.

Laurie's fundamentals are atrocious.

Nofaluma honestly is the dumbest player I have ever seen. Just no footy IQ at all...

Brooks simply cannot control a set in opp 20. He can play broken field footy, but he can't put anything on when camped down there. We all know this.

GK took away all momentum.

These issues have plagued us for years.

The kid in state cup will fix FB, but too late for this season.

Brooks and Nofaluma need to be cut. Nothing will change whilst they remain. They will give us 1 good week every 4 or 5 weeks, but cost you all the games in between.

The pack is massively improved, but those two need to go before real change occurs.

You just can't win with a 7 with no footy IQ and a winger who allows the opp two tries a week.
 
I would honestly chop Brooks and play Wakeham.

He does not offer a lot, but just tell him to play like the trial...stay composed...and let the others be the main ball players.

He would then give us a goalkicker and a long kicking game.

Sheens is not dropping Brooks though...he obviously did not watch the NRL whilst in the UK as Tim talks about Brooks like he is in year 3 of his career and there is hope. Sheens still sees 'that' Brooks.

Brooks is in year 10. Nothing is changing.
 
As a long time defender of Brooks I can't defend today. I thought he was horrible.

I also thought Api was legless. Very disappointed in him.

I don't get the criticism of Laurie. He made a couple of mistakes but his effort all game meant he was our best. I thought he worked great with Staines who I thought was awesome and tried his heart out. Maybe Laurie 7 and Staines 1.

Doueihi needs to show more heart in defence but he has so much upside in attack. I thin ke played well.

But boy, for once find a bloody goal kicker.

The effort off the scrum for the Titans last try shows typical Tigers spirit. Concerning.

Overall I think we were slightly the better team, they just defended great and we had a legless halfback.

All three have one single strength...running.

So, it makes zero sense to play all 3 together.

AD is the best / biggest...so there is your runner.

So, you need a controller at 7 and a FB who is safe and has footy smarts.

I.e. you can't play Brooks and Laurie with AD.

Brooks HAS to go....but he won't.

He may even be MOTM next week if the game opens up...but then he will have 3 terrible games after it.

This is who he is.

This is not even a debate anymore. Every fan of every club knows it.

Except Sheensy somehow does not see it.

2.Out of position in the 1st half when Titans put a kick in and scored
3. Dropped the ball and Titans scored from a scrum late in the 2nd half

A better fullback as our 1, and the result would be different. His errors resulted directly in tries.

His "couple of mistakes" resulted directed in tries. How do you not get this?

He was out of position on their short kicks...he failed to read which side they were going multiple times...he failed to contest a ball that broke open the game...

Effort, yes.

But you need fundamentals and smarts at FB. He has none.

Problem is the 7 also has none.

You can't carry one, let alone both...
 
Brooks and Nofa well tried and tested - times well and truly up. Honestly can't give them more than a month of that, final... final notice.

Laurie, yah.. nah - has moments, but just not a modern fullback.

AD not a half, and wish he would apply himself for the 80 - like most of them.

Really happy with Staines and Naden.
