He had a huge step up in class in 2015 and with a season of NRL behind him and another off season of strengthening and conditioning …...

heard a stat Lovett was one of our most effective defensive players for 2016 [maybe the stat guy was off sick the day Whare hit us at speed 😕 ]

Unfortunately Funaki never repeated attitude/game from u20's in NSW cup :frowning:
I expected much more form him.

I think Funaki is very talented, he has a weakness with his lateral defence and could be fitter.

IMO I prefer Lamar, runs those great lines and is a little more athletic. That said there would be plenty that would go the other way.

I think that only keeping one of the 2 is a reasonable decision.
