@happy tiger said:You would of won a hell of a lot more games and series if you got rid of your dopey selectors
Still the funniest story I ever heard , A NSW selector approaching Marty Gurr telling him to keep fighting and the selectors were watching him for selection for NSW
He had been retired for 2 seasons LOL

@happy tiger said:NSW bench will have one prop and 3 backrowers with Lewis as the utility no doubt
Luke Lewis is the Lindner of NSW , ignore his club form he steps it up big time whenever he sticks on his states jersey

I'll be livid if Lewis gets selected again this year. It's a bloody disgrace that he can just waltz up onto the biggest arena in Rugby League after doing jack sh!t all year for his club. It makes a mockery of the idea of selection on merit and is a slap in the face of the many young guys coming through, who bust their guts for the respective teams week in, week out. I don't care how well he might have played in the past - that's ancient history.

There comes a time when good players just ain't as good as they once were. I didn't think he was even very good in last year's series.

How did he do that?

@Flippedy said:Not too sure about that, thought it was the year before, but I could be wrong. I still think he is past it now and doesn't deserve a walk up start every year, but that's just my opinion.
