Can't believe that Gallen is disputing his 1 week charge for stomping. Reckon he was bloody lucky to just get that. Looks like he was looking at the guy on the ground when he stomped. Didn't Billy Slater get 12 weeks for something a little similar?

Reckon they are doing it to try and save face a bit. Nothing like the Dugan inceident as Dugan wasn't looking back when he did it.

I think one ot two weeks is fair . Personally though these defenders need to release the players asap and if they don't they deserve everything they get

Watto you see every week Players every week kicking their legs out looking at the referee to no avail for a penalty
Maybe this will bring the issue of the wrestle and people holding down too long to the NRL and force them to finally do something about this blight on the game
It will help bring equality back to the game with sides who have big packs against sides who have smaller more mobile packs and create far more interesting games

Granted the player he stomped behaved like a cross between Steve Matai and an Italian soccer player, but still, it was a calculated decision to attempt to inflict harm on a tackler.

Don't get me wrong he has done the wrong thing , but I am hoping that the necessary changes to the issues with tackling styles will be changed for the future
By doing this we will make make our game more exciting and different and stop causing all of the unnecessary injuries that are occurring

So doesn't anyone want to see the end of wrestling , ju jitsu and pressure holds .
What so the game has come down to who can wrestle better and injure more players than being the best football side
I don't call it football
Maybe get rid of the sidelines and build a steel mesh cage

But the grading has been dealt and I don't think they can upgrade the charge only downgrade it once it has been challenged but someone may know more than me about that .
