I watched the first season. Thought it was pretty good with some surprising twists in the story. Is the second season any good?

Great books and great show. It's made well and cast well, one of the best TV series out for sure. The good thing is each season is based on 1 book, so you know every season will be well written and 'go somewhere' - unlike Walking Dead which had a great season 1 and season 2 only half as good :frowning:

Watched the first series, hanging out for the 2nd! Got me in the 1st episode when they were caught doing the nasty so pushed the kid out the window! Also killing off the big "star" of the show in the 1st series! It is never done, this series is the bomb, I am going to start reading the 1st book tomorrow

Great great show, reading book 1 now trying to get through it so i can get on with 2.Season 2 is progessing nicely.

Tried reading book 1 ages ago but didn't finish it. Watched season 1, got amazingly hooked and had finished all the books within 6 weeks. Books and show are brilliant.

Big fan here, Finished all the Audiobooks (Yes Im time poor and listen)

The TV series is well cast and solid, The sets and the costumes are just as I pictured them in my mind's eye.

I liked that horse warrior king. He was a beast. Would have liked to see him bring his army after the throne.

Yeah drogo was cool, wouldn't mind him in our back row. I am a bit weirded out by the chick who has her 9yo still on the boob. Can't wait for series 2, wishing I was more net savvy

Great series, have watched the first episode of season two and taped the second episode to watch tonight. There are a few good series on at the moment, Thrones is one also 'The walking dead', 'Hell on wheels' and 'Revenge' are also worth following imo.
