GC Centre James Roberts

Anybody see todays game between the Titans and Eels? James Roberts was a gun in the centres, so much pace and pretty solid hands. Not sure about his defence as the entire Titans side looked like rabble so it was hard to tell.

I know he's had some issues off the pitch but he could be a good cheap signing for us. He would add so much pace to the centre combination with Simona and we could perhaps think about putting Lawrence in the back row or off the bench.

A gamble I know but could pay dividends. He's from the north NSW coast so could be thinking of a move closer to home (although he's from Kempsey which is a pretty crap place).

He has been at the GC for 6 weeks or so, I am sure he has a cousin there or something. No intentions of leaving I guess

everyone knows he's talented. can play anywhere from 1-5\. think he was at rabbitohs then went to knights under bennet then went to panthers under gould and then to GC.

not sure of his contract status but i doubt he'd be cheap.

Dont think he went to Knights. But the rest is right. When Panthers dumped him Gould was very nice about it. It must have been a fairly small infraction but the Panthers have been taking a very tough line on behaviour.

Yep a prodigious talent who bas been around for a while yet is still only 21\. Behavioural issues only thing that has stopped him before.

I would take a chance on him. Not everyone are Todd Carney and it would inject some real strike to our centre combination.

I remember him scoring a 110m try for Souths in an U20s game. Got the ball from his own in goal and ran the length of the field. I think he's Amos Roberts' nephew.
He'd be a great signing but is he even off contract?
