I agree ...but when you hear about these life bans .....how do they get fully imposed on the offenders ...only would affect real members ...maybe that's what needs to happen ...if you buy a ticket you become a one day member ...which means you provide a name to the face

Will a underpaid security guard or ground attendant do that when he/she has a queue 50 metres long and isn't going to be held responsible for their actions or is even a volunteer ??

If I can make one comment about the notion of "reverse discrimination", but I'd also like to stress I'm not trying to discount your personal experience or have a crack at you, just offering an alternative view.
The reason we focus on discrimination of some more than others is because there are few or nil positive opportunities that non aboriginal Australians are denied in comparison to Aboriginal Australians. There are historical factors but you don't even need to consider them, on average if you are born Aboriginal today you will die sicker abd younger, have less educational opportunities, earn less money, be more likely to be incarcerated etc.... compared to you being born in similar circumstances but non Aboriginal.
It doesn't mean individual behaviour that vilified you for being white is any better than the kid who had a crack last night. Both represent stupidity, ignorance and cruelty, but only one of represents the very real difference in this country between being Aboriginal and non Aboriginal.
My experience, I used to hate being called a wog, a leb, and any jokes or insults that came with it - got into fights here and in real life. Slowly I realised, yes the racist individual is a DH, but I'm rarely if ever actually discriminated against in the way an Indigenous person is. So the racism might be real, but like you in the past it bothers me less, and why should it, because I'm not discriminated against or denied any opportunities. Not the same for many people and it isn't just rave, I could have used socio-economic status or a bunch of other things
TL/DR - lots of people are wankers, we should care more when the targets are vilified for things associated with genuine disadvantage.
Like Ink said, the law bans people from doing things all the time, short of gaoling them they're not going to be effectively kept out.
You can issue bans, and if by chance the guys gets in again one of two things will happen:
1. He'll have learned that he'll get bounced if he makes those remarks again and won't say them;
2. He'll repeat his actions and get removed again.
I don't think we should be parting with our personal details everytime we want to do something.
If I want to go bowling I don't have to hand over personal details on the off chance I want to start a hate speech about a specific race of people.

Heard on the radio that it was supposedly a Rorters supporter, so I guess there may have been some bad blood over Mitchell's expulsion from the Rorters and the eventual defection to the arch enemy Souffs.
If I recall correctly, the Rorters wanted Mitchell gone and really didn't care where he went as long as it was not to their arch enemy Souffs.
I believe that they would have been happy for Wests Tigers to pick him up at the time, probably because they believed that if he did come to us his NRL career would be condemned to failure.
I can understand fans holding a grudge because I have hated Souffs with a passion since 1909 and I wasn't even around at that time, I can understand that someone may sledge the guy but making it a racist thing is not acceptable.

I know I'm an arrogant turd to argue this point but I have family and friends who are Lebanese. Indigenous people may cop it worse but I'm privileged and I see the difference between my life experiences and Lebanese people. Maybe not all because my extended family are Muslim.
There is a guy who goes to my gym and he tells me he drives from Lakemba past North Strathfield and he can see the difference in circumstances.
A good example is my nieces and nephews all get over 90 in their HSC but they don't get the same job opportunities or privilege that I've had.
*** Added later. I also have really wealthy family and they have friends who are Lebanese from the Eastern Suburbs and they live a life of privilege.
