Great stuff Ink.
On that, if anyone knows any ex-footballers doing tough, not necessarily former first graders let me know.
Im president of the Penrith Chapter of the MOL and we are always finding out about guys doing it tough later than we wished, they never put their hand up and ask for help.

Then you read articles like the one about Larry Corowa who thinks he is owed something.

The old footy players that just get on with life and don't sulk about it are the ones the need help. Goose I appreciate the things you do for those guys. Well done.

awesome work and great story. Played against Geoff's son Ben when i was young. Ben played for Carlingford Cougars at the time and was very good player. I played for Dundas till i was 14 then Holy Cross and we butted heads quite alot as oppositions 5/8's.
Looked up to Geoff as a local junior so glad to hear that he is doing well.
Well done Ink.

I remember Geoff as a kid. Such a pity his career was cut short. Never saw him live but remember as a country kid searching the sport pages and ruunin dads battery dead listening for updates on tigers games. Back then tiges were lucky to get a broadcasted match.
What a legend, more in his short career than most have. To be putting back 40 yrs later fantastic. Just hope the management are monitoring and come in with something. This young bloke might not be a tige yet but wouldn't wed all love to have him in the fold. PR man hope you're there.
