Just read an article saying that Steve Georgallis has replaced Brad Arthur at Manly

Loved Georgie as a player when he was at Wests , but his time here as a coach was less than impressive

This isn't easy , but I wish him luck at Manly

I'm sure they'd say thanks but no thanks. Considering how both sides faired this yr, picking Georgie's brain about us wouldn't be on the top of their priority list i wouldn't think.

I don't GNR , they do exactly the opposite from what Georgie suggested they'd be pretty well on the mark

But Georgallis was all heart on the field , always gave 100% and that wouldn't have always been easy with some of the floggings our beloved Magpies used to cop

There are no secrets in footy!
Hes moved on, do you really think he will be thinking about the Tigers? And really what 'secrets' are there to tell?

Who cares if he knows all our coaches individually, its a new structure, a new squad, he doesn't know how they, the coaches, will work together and what they may come up with as a coaching unit!

At the end of the day, any club, any coach for that matter, can analyze an opposition and their players work out their strengths, weaknesses and set play's!!

royce has the best job in the world, he is now paid to rally the old supporters and sponsors that have left, apparently he does this by playing golf and having beers with them. …good work if you can get it!

he would of got there except the town keeps growing and Royce keeps doubling up :slight_smile:

Yeah heard that Royce many seasons ago during a Mad Monday celebration was trying to stop another player leaving the celebration and he literally threw himself into the departing car knocking himself out

No one could Royce to respond until someone walked out of the bar and screamed " its your shout Royce " to which he calmly got up and resumed his drinking session

How do you know what Georgie did and didn't do ?

A professional club like Manly must see something to sign him up.

And when Manly make the top 4 again next year suddenly he will be impressive.

Can't blame him really. The choice between joining a perennial top-4 club and wallowing in amongst our current rabble of an organization would be an easy one.

Can't say he will be a great loss to WT either though. Good, serviceable clubman back in his playing days but we need blokes from outside of the WT history books to take our club forward.
