And Perenara as the video ref! What a combination!

There’s a reason he got dropped . I’m pretty anti the Sutton’s , but he’s a deadset doofus .

When you lose the penalties 9-5 in a tight game it makes it hard.

What about the set restarts, we couldn’t buy one, I think it was 7-2, he held us to a higher standard than souths

lil pipsqueak

I must be getting old ...again apart from the final call ...which was the video ref .......I thought we got a pretty even game ...maybe I need to see OPSM Monday morning ...maybe my tangerine ,balck and white sunnies need replacing

I agree, for once felt the luck run with us.
Feel the latrell kick should of been a penalty however.

But he can't call what he doesn't see ..he was following play 15 metres downfield

Yeah im not blaming Sutton, its the only dud call i remember really in the game

The one where we knocked on, Mansour picked it up, busted 2 tackles, ran 15 metres.......then knocked it on and it was ruled 'no advantage'. We got dudded by the slimy little bastard.

Madge , called out the refereeing , he was asked about the 2 point field goal , and said , with all the technology we have , a foot on the line , a lashing out at Luke garner , why can’t it be looked at in the game . Then we get a penalty the other end of the field “

After looking at the replay I don't think Latrell touched the line. We absolutely should have got a penalty at minimum for Latrell donkey kicking.

Yea , I hav no idea about the line , I was way more irritated at the Lattrell cheap stuff . As soon as they saw it , the game should have been stopped . IMO , he should have got 10 mins.

What happens if he gets garner in the face , and he breaks his jaw ?

40 years ago 11 clubs would have been lining up for the payback ...low stuff

Yea that’s what sux . Just say garner goes off , and the next 6 one of our boys , drills Lattrell . It will be endless stories about how much of a grub the bloke was who drilled Lattrell .
It’s ridiculous really , in that it’s so predictable .

And the refs would have suffered from Latrell blindness back then ...he would of got flattened ....play on ...saw nothing

Told ya it was your destiny to watch it.

If he played for Parra he would have

They were talking about this on ABC Grandstand today. Apparently there's an NRL edict they can play longer advantages. Ruan Sims was comparing it to Union.

I know it sucks to see, but wish Garner stayed down clutching at his face dramatically. May have got more attention.

Not blaming him at all.

Is it any wonder kids get disappointed and turn to other sports. They watch there team bust their arse and clearly are the better side and get screwed by the way refs are now allowed to dictate the outcome by the stupid 6 again calls

Yep. Our blokes busted their guts tonight, they were playing against 18.
We had Badge in our dressing shed, they had Gerry The Germ.

Always, always, always! That’s what is so hard to take. He just refuses to give us a bloody chance.

Whatever it is, it's a ...... disgrace.
They need to take that sort of decision out of corrupt officials hands', once the play has gone past the point of the original indescretion then that is your advantage. What a rort it is ATM, lottery. Bloody disgraceful that results of games are manipulated every week by this sort of rubbish.

There was one set of six in the second half, the FOX commentators said that will be a set restart twice, we got neither

Some of his calls tonight were simply skewed towards favoring Souths - he kept a skinny 10 metres for them all night yet we continually got pinged for showing good line speed for once.

What blows my mind is that the Souths fans actually believe they were hard done by tonight by the ref..
They got like 10 more sets for the game (49 total I believe) 6 agains calls and penalties in there favour but hard done by... Gee wiz they would not last a week as a Tigers supporter

Bulldogs fan here.

So you guys are awake to the fact that Gerrard Sutton & his brothers are as corrupt as the day is long.

He's been raping us since Good Friday 2014 with lopsided penalty counts (God help us now he has the six again rule) and inexplicable decisions.

He & the standard of referring in the NRL is a disgrace.

On the Mitchel lashing out with his foot on Garner incident, I thought the bunker could make a call on these if the Ref misses it?
It was pretty clear.

I liked the “good old days” when the touchie would run on waving the flag. These days the ref seems to tell the touchies to mind their own business.

I don't think any ref is deliberately biast or have an agenda, some are just easily influenced by home crowds, big name players and an underling leaning towards the teams expected to win. South's were whinging at the ref every bloody tackle.

Onto Latrell. He is an incredible player and pretty much saved the game for the bunnies. But so grubby. There were at least 10 unsportsman like incidents. Some small some big, but all dirty. Anyone notice him sliding into noffa with his knees after the intercept i think it was. Constantly grabbing the markers ankles in the play the ball. Right up there with Slater and Smith.
