Get behind the tigers

Just on that point, reading the legal fine print, the NRL actually owns the WESTS TIGERS brand so if they felt that brand was being misused or cheapened by the WT board then they could intervene.
So maybe that is the avenue for our complaints, that by poor management decisions the WT brand is/ has been tarnished and the League needs to challenge our BOARD and the Wests Ashfield board about that.
Forget Lee, address all complaints to PVL and AA.
What we really need is the League to step in and conduct an independent review of all the struggling clubs and see what’s going wrong with the management of each club, coz the comp is now well and truly split in two.
Perhaps some recommendations for improvement at each organisation, be it board, management or players. They do it for the salary cap !
I for one would welcome such a review of the WT.l by the one organisation that can initiate change.

“I think since I’ve come to the Roosters, I feel like I’ve arrived in an NRL side now. I feel like my journey started since I got here,” Gildart said.

“There are some great lads at the Tigers, don’t get me wrong, but there are more senior players and more leaders at the Roosters. I’ve been listening to what they’ve been saying and I feel like that’s really improving me as a player.

“I wanted to see what it’s like to compete week in, week out with a team at the top of the NRL.

All valid and commendable. Sounds like better coaching , both team and individual, and not just one voice but lots of assistant coaches who get it plus wearing the jersey.
It’s not just the recruitment of players, it’s the right type of players, all listening and respecting the head coach , and demanding the best from anyone new and each other. Insufficient skills, we’ ll teach you but you must be willing to listen and learn. And buy in.

We systematically moved on our leadership, because we didn’t recognise it as an essential skill, perhaps because it presented itself in a way that was raw and hard to deal with. This shows the immaturity of our club’s administrators.

They should just open the gates for the last game, give something back to the supporters. If Canberra have to win that game to make the semi finals, they will run twice as hard as the Roosters.

And lock them at kick off so people people can’t escape when we are 30 behind at halftime

As much as Saturdays result sucks, its still doesn't feel as bad as it did with the losses for the Tommy Raudonikis game or last game of the year against Bulldogs last year.

I completely disagree i have never felt more disgusted in warching a game of football in all of my 69 years. It was a complete pea hearted performance with only a couple of blokes having a dig

Interesting comments from Annesley yesterday that weekend results were an aberration as a result of hungry top 8 teams devouring lesser ones.
That seems to me like a way of the NRL not getting involved ( no club reviews etc.) and letting nature takes it’s course.
Also thought Paul Gallens column on Nine sport about Tamou’s appeal and Tigers moving forward was well written and sums up where we are and what we have to do moving forward.
If anyone can cut and paste I’m sure it would be interesting for all.
Go Tigers.

I’ll give the tigers a review. Get creative with your 3rd party deals and golf tournaments and hire more first graders!
