Get Farah and Hayne to the Eels ASAP, Mr Greenberg

1\. Robbie is contracted to this club.
2\. Robbie is the best no 9 at this club.
3\. Robbie should be playing no 9 in the NRL for this club until either a better no 9 joins or his contract expires.
Simple.

Logic went out the door a couple of weeks ago. Taylor, rightly or wrongly drew a line in the sand. I personally don't have a problem with him doing such a thing - he wants the team and club to be successful and is doing what he thinks is best, and no doubt it's a difficult decision and situation the club now finds itself in. I would think it's in Farah's best interests to leave - if he wants to continue playing first grade. Otherwise he'll be known as the game's highest paid reserve grader if he stays.

i havent heard one complaint from any parra supporter that i know regarding the idea of farah joining their club, to some it was like a fantasy too good to be true. and after giving it some thought myself, i think i would be seriously pissed we giving farah the "see ya later" and we will be stuck with that mr bean of a coach…......... :crazy

The Parra fan i work with was actually dreading it today. Said they need a halfback with Foran leaving.

What a waste of a read.
The bloke who wrote it bases bringing both of them to Parramatta using 'NRL discretionary funds'.
He obviously doesn't keep up with what's happening because Todd Greenberg has already come out and said he would not use the war chest for Hayne or any marquee player in the game.
Anyway - after what Parramatta has done why on earth would you do something to help them over teams struggling for money and doing things properly.
The author is either a Parramatta supporter or a dope - probably both.

I'm sure I heard one of the NRL lackeys that the fund has been axed.
Can't say for sure but pretty certain that that was what he said.

The fund exists, but the idea it can be used for discretionary player payments has been axed.

By the way, I agreed with the earlier post about the comparison to the two world wars. I too thought it was a poor comparison, but posted the article anyway as there was some interesting viewpoints worth discussing.

Thanks Gary, I wasn't sure about the details.

The article does make some good points, I agree that it would be best for Farah to leave. Something makes me think this whole saga is simpler than what most are thinking..

I totally agree that on paper, and from a skill and experience perspective Robbie is our best no.9 and should be playing first grade for us. However, maybe he really just isn't compatible with the way the team is heading, specifically with Brooks, Moses and Teddy taking more and more control in each game.

No one is arguing that Robbie is our best option from the outside looking in, but we don't know what goes on inside the club, and I wouldn't be surprised if Farah really was in fact hindering the performance of the team, whether that be not directing play as per JTs intentions, or still (more likely) taking too much control away from our young playmakers, both verbally and in action. Then again, like many people think, the club could be using him as a scapegoat to clear up funds, but imo that sounds more like a conspiracy theory.

Stuff helping Parra

I had an idea , lets help the Wallabies , lets offer one player per club to try and improve them become a better side
