Get the ball to our Wings

Game plan needs to be to spread the ball to the wing all day, forwards take tackle one and two then spread to the wing and run at them, even if we don't crack them as long as we tire them out in defense so they will be too tired in attack.

we tire ourselves out doing that too, you know that right?

no, we need to go through them. Our pack can out muscle them

If the Forwards do what they did against the Rabbits then Brooks and Farah will have time and space to set up the Outside backs. If our Forwards dominate we win simple as that.

I actually disagree with your last sentence. Their backline has enough class to create individual brilliance from anywhere on the park no matter whats happening with their forward park. Whilst the sentence might fit in with other games, im not convinced the forward battle will soley determine this result. However the forward battle is still very important.

We need the same mongrel we had against the bunnies back, it was missing last week. Hopefully Manly are a bit flat after getting themselves up for last weeks match, it was a very fast physical and intense game surely they can't back it up, or can they? Hmm

Not a bad tactic, if we make Cheyse make some decisions, he often comes up wrong, and Richards on Williams in the air seems to favor us

Manly will chew us up and spit us out playing like that

We have to complete our sets get in the grind and try and hang with them as long as possible

If Manly score 18 points we will struggle to beat them , they don't leak too many points

Agree. We need to win the ruck to bring Farah and Brooks into the game effectively. We have a slight size advantage but that won't bother Manly, we simply need to be more desperate than them.

Yes these points are a tell tale how we will go on Sunday. We have been starting good all season but its keeping up the intensity that will be the telling point. They are a tough tough team Manly, just hope we for once finish with 17 players….hmmm! is that possible 😛ray:

We need the Souths game plan again, fire away at them through the middle constantly.

Manly is probably the worst team in the comp to go out wide early against… Spread the ball wide early in sets against Manly and they will shut you down all day, they have the best fringe defense in the comp bar none.

Manly has dominating players all around such as Glen Stewart, Matai and Watmough. Strong backs like Keirun, Cherry Evans and Williams. We have to play very well to win this Sunday, never say die, play to win, play for each other and the players believed in themselves. At Leichardt, with our support, the fans, may just get us there.
