Getting the best out of benji

Get him back to 5/8
Give the goalkicking to Anasta
Let Anasta do most of the kicking in general play and the goal-line dropouts
Let Farah do most of the organizing
Just get him back to running the ball and getting the defence guessing again, they have him figured out at the moment with his predictable play

To be fair to Benji though he has basically had to take all of this responsibility whether he wanted it or not due to the fact that we had no decent halves partner for him with a good kicking game this season (and especially when Robbie didn't play he basically had to organize the whole shebang…something that I don't believe he is really good at or helps his game in any way).

Problem is I think that Benji wants to be the main go-to man in all of these areas, he wants to be in the limelight at all times to feed the ego.
IF our new coach can convince him to take a bit of a back seat and let a few others take a bit of control I have no doubt at all that he can be as good if not better than ever in the next few seasons.

I'm Intrigued to see how Benji & Blair play tonight compared to what they produced on a whole with us this year.

Both played as per normal.

So next year start Blair the bench or Ryde. Take the field kicking off Marshall and give that job somebody else..anybody else, probably Anasta if he is on the field.
