Give miller a go

I'm not writing Miller off just yet. I seem to remember the same thing being said about Lui at 7 and you know what…he improved and actually grew in confidence and found his niche in this team, before going down his ill fated path. Nothing I've seen from Miller so far surprises me but if we're serious about grooming a young half back then we need to show the same patience we showed with Lui.

As long as Miller doesn't stuff up badly, I'm happy to give him the season because I believe he'll come out the other side a better player. We need to accept that this is a necessary evil. We don't have a top shelf option to use, not even an experienced back up half. I do see some merit with Shifting Anasta to 6 and Benji 7 but I think we should show some conviction on the Miller/Marshall combo.

Dead right. Miller needs more time, just like Lui came good in time. Dropping him after 4 rounds is ridiculous. The only thing that is good about Anasta in the halves is it will remind him of what the ball feels like. He has done f#%kin nothing so far. Benji is not an organiser, he's a runner, we know this. He didn't want to play at 7 so Potter put in a 7 in Miller, yet Benji tries to organise but doesn't want to run the ball either. Anasta is at the end of his career, Miller at the start. Milky captained the 20's to a grand final win, and was the junior kangaroos halfback, so he doesnt have a problem organising or being in control. theoretically there isnt a better up and coming halfback going. Should be number one choice IMO. Brooks has a way to go yet, so Give Milky A GO!!
Our problems are in the forwards till we get troops back. And our centres need looking at before dumping miller, our centres are not threatening anyone. Rowdy scored 2 the other week, should be every week.

Miller, was played 2 in on our left in D, a heap of breaks and tries down that side. WHO IS INSIDE MILLER?? The whole joint needs a swift kick in the rear when it comes to our D!!! As for our ATTACK, the PROBLEM is with BENJI!! Having played a "BIT" of footy and regular catch-ups with similar mates,,no one argues BENJI is more a hazard then a help!!! I have no burrow to push with the bloke, but fair dinkum any one that kicks with his in-step is not a 1st Grader!!! 1: His kicking style telegraphs a kick is coming. 2: Little or no control of the kick.

I think he only kicks with the inside of his foot so that it gets that spin and bounce towards the touchline. But he needs to vary his kicks, it is always the same ol' same.
By the way mate, love your user name! Big Les is what we need right now, a bit of biff and mongrel

Fade to Black, I hear ya!!! Just on Benji, I suppose like everyone else, you can look at him at times and ask yourself,,,HOW DID HE DO THAT!!! With AMAZEMENT and then 1 minute later ask yourself the same question but with a negative!! That same spin and bounce you mention I agree with, but, it also makes it hard for our chasers. With a regular kick, like a Adam Reynolds, delivered with the correct weight it is controlled and attackers have a better idea to read the bounce. When I am working on the door tonight at Percy's I might have a yard to some old big boppers and tell them to put their boots back on!!!

Get Eddie Salita hanging around the opposition's changerooms and deal with a few of 'em hey!

I don't see the drama. The apprentice has been sent back to improve his trade. Where exactly is the issue? Farah "appeared" to give Miller a spray against Manly for not organising things. The fact that had to occur means Miller wasn't ready to be a fulltime first grader in the halfback role just yet. If he is any good, then he will be back.

Honestly if Farah doesn't like him for any reason he's probably better off not being in the side. Even if Farah is being petty (which he may not be, who knows) he's the captain, our best and most influential player. He should be playing with a side that he can work with.

u mean miller shouldnt be in the side?
farah is not the coach.. the coach decides who does what. if farah doesn't like miller, bad luck.. he has to put up with it.
a captain/player shouldnt be the one deciding what is whose job and who stays in the team or not.
