I think you are spot on Happy, Maybe a few Backup signings @ most. We will probably loose Anasta, maybe Big Ben & one or two others.

With farah and brooks both left footers I wouldn't want another left footer.

We don't want nor need Stewart, he is coming to the end of his career and that has shown through his injuries over the past few years. Do we really want another has been like Anasta and co that we have signed over the years? Would be a complete waste of valuable money IMO that could be used to help sign the likes of Nofo, Siro, Simona and or even retain players like a Paterson if he performs this year.

From what I've seen left footers are a little more restricted to target the left side defense coz of the angle. It could just be me though. Might sound crazy to most and that's fine.
Also it's good to have variety with your kickers. If you look at roosters- their halves work on different sides of the field rather than the conventional halfback first receiver 5/8 second receiver. Same with manly.
However storm and souths (Sutton is left footed) they have a more conventional way of attacking.
Just a theory that I have that's it. Nothing factual here.

Iam surprised so many people dont rate him. Okay I agree that he is on the decline and is injury prone, but I also think he is one of the better organizing forwards in the NRL.
I always compare him to Todd Payten and you only had to look at the Tigers play when Todd was injured to see how valuable he was.
Our cap will be well and truly spent trying to retain what we have, but with no Anasta next year he would be a player that could add the experience needed on the edge of the ruck.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems like there are actual Tigers fans on here rejecting the mere notion of having a representative player in our ranks.
Did I miss something? Maybe I was sick the day we suddenly transformed into Chelsea FC?
But where is our blue kit and Jose Mourinho?

To the people people on here that forever say no to the thought of signing class off-contract class players (see Inglis, SBW, Folau etc): I am sooo over it! FFS get a grip on reality. Like we are such a hot ticket that we even have the chance to reject such players!
Stewart is a friggin unbelievable, solid rep player. Any team who wouldn't want him needs to have their priorities checked and their management fired.
