it will be an interesting game to watch - i would think the roosters would rather play us at the SFS than titans at skilled park - knowing at halftime that we will finish 3rd i reckon they might do just enough to win but not enough to finish 5th - or am i just being paranoid
 
Three very ordinary games tonight. If they didn't have anything to do with who the Tigers are playing or finishing I think I would have found something better to do.

Its a good point. The only argument I could find is that the higher you finish the safer you are in week 1 of semis.
 
Yes but would you rather play a Warriors side who played a pretty easy game against Parra or a big Roosters side in a tight grind in Townsville the week before.

Bottom line is there are no excuses. We need to win

They will go on with it now after that try. The Cowboys wont care too much in the last 10 mins.
 
i'm not paranoid - roosters score again to move back out to 10 point lead - just keping a comfortable margin without winning by 15

Agreed, this thread is on the mark judging by the lack of intensity by the roosters unless they really are that bad!?!?
 
Meh, we will not have a choice of where we play our 2nd week game. Not much point getting worked up about the 1st week either. If roosters lose to us, they will probably be out. If they actually tried tonight and came 5th, they would have a better chance of surviving a loss next week.

Run 5th, more insurance for them if they drop their first game, especially with the Raiders being one of the 2 lower ranked sides, in red hot form.
