With Moses going and no recognised goal kicker in our team/ squad then next year (and possibly this yr is Moses goes) then we will need a goal kicker
We have a couple of internal options in Suli and Rankin but I don't think Suli is a good enough goal kicker and Rankin not a good enough player
I've had a look through the off contract players and their are a few goal kickers - what do people think
Micheal Gordon - Great kicker and FB but at 34 might be a step too far although is playing well this year
Gareth Widdop - I think we'd mostly all be happy with Widdop at 5/8 and the goal kicking makes him the bloke I'd go after if we could
Bryson Goodwin - Could do a job on the wing and with the boot but think we should be aiming higher for players and kickers
Shaun Johnson - DOn't see him leaving NZ but would be good a good combo with Brooks and Cleary
Chad Townsend - He is an out and ut halfback in my mind and would make an unusualy combo with Brooks but could be effective and did play 5/8 for the warriors
Kerrod Holland - Great kicker and solid player I wouldn't mind him on an edge
Jordon kahu - If he would be willing to leave QLD then I'd have him in a heartbeat
Benji marshall - If we release Moses then I'd take Benji for the rest of the year assuming his wrist is ok
