It's finally coming ut how that Gold Coast Cheated and Rorted the cap from stealing him from us

about time!!! they ruined our halfback problem when Prince was in his prime and we were left with the great John Morris.

I said years ago they rorted the cap to get him with giving Prince a home etc

No justice for Wests Tigers. The huge fine which Gold Coast are paying the NRL is not going anywhere near Wests Tigers who were by far the main victims of the rort.

Are you serious it is nothing to do with prince leaving weststigers he left in 06 the problem is with his deal to move to the Broncos some 6 years later

"The matter relates to a scheme orchestrated by the previous management of the Titans at the end of 2012 when Prince left the club for the Broncos."

Sorry, but you need to sharpen up your comprehension of the article which reads;

"In a statement released today, NRL Integrity Unit revealed it has handed the penalty to the Titans after finding former captain Scott Prince was paid “substantially more” than his contract stated. This difference in remuneration was never disclosed by the previous Titans administration or Prince and was only unearthed by the new management.”

In no way does the article indicate that the scheme was conceived at the end of 2012\. In fact it indicates quite the opposite i.e. it was conceived by the earlier Titans administration during the early years when Scott was playing for the Titans.

So this below is wrong then is it?

The inquiry centred on a severance package worth a reported $400,000 paid to Prince when he left the Titans to join Brisbane in 2012 and led League Central auditors to determine he was "paid substantially more than the contract lodged with the NRL by a previous Titans administration".

The above statement is quite likely to be correct but who is to say whether or not the severance package worth a reported $400,000 paid to Prince when he left the Titans to join Brisbane in 2012 was not originally promised by the Titans to Prince when he left Wests Tigers in 2006 and held back as a severance payment? Quite simply the Cap System is currently open to rorting left, right and centre and urgently needs changing to at least tighten up the most obvious loopholes.

The biggest thing for me in this is the Broncos refusing to co-operate and the language impyling that they pretty sure they cheated but cant prove it and the Roosters lack of documentation coupled with the suspiciously strong roster has sparked the conspiracy neurons for me….. are they not documenting correctly cause they are cheating???

If the NRL had quite a few privately owned clubs then the owners would split to form their own league. Incorrect head body rulings and the perception of bias towards some clubs have been examples over some US sports over the last century or so.

The EPL came about because the stronger clubs believed that they weren't getting their share.

Please be nice if I have skewed the truth.
