Southern Cross is a good possibility.

Why does it have to be white on blue / why not yellow stars on green.

Third point I think the Union Jack and the Aboriginal Flag should be put to bed permanently.

We should all be united under one independent flag, whatever that is. (Better something new, so no one group have to compromise).

Yes by birth …have dual citizenship now :smiley:
By all means remove the Union Jack from the current flag if that's where we're heading .
But I doubt it will happen in my lifetime ... Most Aussies can't decide on BBQ or Tomato sauce , nevermind becoming a republic and changing the flag :laughing:

I just think that Golden Wattle design looks naff!
Just the Southern Cross with the current blue background looks great .
