Uncle Nick has pulled out his trusty golfclubs again and will be starting to play against selected managers and players shortly

Big mistake by Mike Weir the International captain going with exactly the same 4 pairings for both the day 3 morning 4 ball and the afternoon foursomes ?
These same 8 guys for the internationals were leading or level in all 4 afternoon matches
Scott and Pendrith being 1st cab off the rank scraped across the line on the 18th green
But the other 3 pairs faded badly in last 3 holes to lose 3-1 and same guys lost 3-1 in the morning
Now we need to win minimum 8 out of 12 singles matches ( 8 + 1 tie would do it )
Very unlikely !
Note Jason Day has drawn the "short straw " playing Xander Shauffle in first game at 2 am our time .Xander world No 2 is clearly the most in form golfer of late and this tournament
Although Jason has twice won the World Match play title and this is a bit like match play
He wasn't used at all day 3 so should be fresh but beating Xander will be tough
Day played Thur and Friday for one very narrow loss and one narrow win
Poor old Min Woo lead hasn't played since Thur for 1 loss
Adam Scott playing all 4 sessions for 2 wins 2 losses

Had very early tee time but Fox coverage didn't start till midday when they had finished. Anyway I watched and after half an hour they showed a highlights package of the group from the morning which included many shots of Cam and Min Woo and none of Jason .So I thought Jason must have had a bad day ?
Actual scores Day -4 Smith-4 Min Woo -3: ( a bit puzzling )
