Funny thing, Souths crashed and burned at the end of the season like Broncs did last year.

I'm wondering of Ilias will be the Souths version of Brooks. Much promise. Touted as a potential great. Routinely kicks out on the full. Routinely gives away 7 tackle sets. Struggles in big games.

Interesting seeing the difference in the way Souths and Broncs manage Reyno. Brisbane treat him like a star and coddle him through his injuries. Souths had Cody outside Reyno, and he was the star, so Reyno was not coddled and expected to keep it together like any other player. Brisbane are reaping the benefits.

Not sure what any of this means but it feels like there's a lesson in there somewhere.

There's already rumours of South's wanting to offload Ilias... play Cody and Jack in the halves, etc.

Douht he'll have a 10 year run at South's.
 
Brisbane were one of the architects and key leaders in Super League, they can get stuffed.
Penrith were in SL too but Ribot and his Broncos mates along with Murdoch were the catalysts
I hate Penrith less
