With a huge crowd looking to be at the sfs tonight do u think it was a good idea to not play at campbelltown or leichardt? Personally i think it is great that the tigers knew it was going to be a big game so they have allowed more people to come to the game, this stadium holds more than both suburban grounds combined, after all it is a business and you have to try to make the most money and these decisions are giving wests tiger great financial security.

It was meant to be on sunday at scg. Campbelltown would be the first alternative seing that they havent played a wests heritage match at campbelltown since 2008\. SFS was the smartest choice being such a blockbuster and not having people locked out.

Great move IMO

Game of the round played first and @ the best time.

All about the $$$.

I agree it is a good move. In saying that i would like to see fewer games at Homebush and more and the 2 suburban home grounds. Correct me if I'm wrong but both Leichardt and Campbo get 4 home matches each ? 4 go elsewhere ?

Sometimes the financial benefit om making a semi would outweigh the $$$ from playing 'away' from our traditional home matches. How many times have we finished 9th or 10th, perhaps a win at home was the difference ?

No doubt in the Tigers deal with the SCG/SFS it's in the contract that the trust can choose the games they want. You just need to look at what teams we continously play out there. It seems natural to play these guys at the SFS now considering some of the classics we've played

They're expecting 35000 there tonight so while it would be good to play at Campbelltown, you'd be turning thousands away from watching what will hopefully be a great match.

Yep, Telstra chose their games and im sure the SCG trust choose as well once the draw is out.
Not hard to work out which games are most attractive
