@gcmayer: Thanks to all for your really kind words. Really excited about the opportunity and excited about some good news coming next week #patience

What do you think the good news is ?

Hopefully that we've tied down the young fellas because every other club seems to be interested, if the rumours are anything to go off

More than just the young guys I think. Some of his comments imply quantity.

I think a utility with hooking experience to replace Useffa to make Robbie cover more efficient. Probably a very hard trainer as more of a cultural play.

They will get someone else from ESL - a few references to this that haven't been followed through. There are lots of players over there that were going to be huge but haven't come on yet. Second rower would be my guess. This will explain Spence not being resigned.

Formally announce Moltzen release to ESL

My faint faint hope James O'Conner.. Massive long shot.

Brooks will come onto the bench over the coming weeks. Hopefully we give him the last 20 mins each week for the rest of the season.

Hopefully we've signed folkes, & locked brooks & Moses into long term contracts. That's not asking too much!

Why Folkes? The game is changing. I would not bring another old school coach in. We need a more technical innovative assistant coach. Do you think that whilst Folkes had a great and successful career that perhaps other clubs letting him go is a sign to start fresh. Kind of like in every other aspect of our club.

Mayer will know someone from Manly days who is a gun defensive coach.

We need some size. Just watching Storm and Warriors the backs are mobile and speedy but only off the back of huge impact forwards. We got the speed and mobility now we need some big hard runners 😛ray:

He bought toughness and fitness
Something we lack.

But he is not the news.

Do you have any names, or is this just an idea?

Locking up Aaron Woods for another 5 yesrs would be better than announcing the signing of the Juniors.

Mitch Moises- 3 years
Aaron Woods- 3 years

Moltzen formally leaving

Tom Learoyd Lars- 2 years

Unfortunately he is contracted, Tom Burgess isn't though.

Kenny is a little like Adam Blair though… He will stay out where he is supposed to be, waiting for the play/ball to come his way.

We would need to dominate in the middle before he would be effective?!

A source I have close to Brooks' family reckons that's he's as good as locked in, won't be going anywhere. The delay in both Brooks and Moses' negotiations relate more to Moses. Apparently it is due to the fact Marshall is now leaving. Previous negotiations obviously had Marshall staying, so a few things have been re-jigged.

Well I'd like to think Potter will bring the innovation once he makes the necessary amendments to the squad. Folkes would toughen up our defence as he has done in the past.

An innovative coach? You mean like Tim Sheens?
In my opinion, an old-school coach is exactly what we need.
Folkes had us defending like champs in '10 and '11\. Not that long ago.

Problem from day one has been

1\. We don't have a half back.
2\. We don't have big Forwards that take us down the field.

Anasta to halfback and Galloway back is what I would consider good short term news.

Mccarry, the signings are as follows

- Dean Halatau - 2 years
- Cory Patterson - 2 years
- Luke Brooks - 3years
- Mitchell Moses - 3 years

How good would rabbit O'Connor look with Tiger stripes.

and there would be nothing better than having my lunch tomorrow reading that Moltzen is released.
