Good old Sheens

Inglis very ill during game day but is still selected to start, should of dropped out late replaced by Moylan. Why was Farah selected he is a specialist hooker and Smith plays the full 80 where was a utility as he would of been useful tonight.Sheens coaching style is again shown for what it is garbage.

It's far less stressful watching sheen's coached sides lose these days!
& even better now we're no longer paying to have him sit around on his posterior.

Australian record…27 matches won 24 drew 1 lost 2 since 2009....

Yeah it's time to go Tim...

Dylan at fullback and Farah at 5/8 - is this Australia's representative side? Sure, Inglis and Cherry-Evans could not play the full game, but the reserve bench must have been weak.

100% Sheens was Australia's worst tonight… He is past it....will never coach NRL again...

To me the Australian players looked unhappy and disconnected from the start. The Kiwis deserved the win. They played great footy with enthusiasm for the whole 80 min.

any team that loses a fullback and halfback will struggle…how do u cover that on the bench einsteins?

Im no sheens fan but geez

The loss to the Kiwis can't all be Sheens fault….

We lost 2/3 of our spine early, from then on it was panic stations to cover for them...

Don't forget any side that loses their fullback and halfback during a game will struggle..especially at rep level...

Even before the injuries we looked terrible easily the worst Australian side I've seen fielded. The poms and kiwis will battle this one out, anyone putting their money on aus must have rocks in their head. Is it too early to make the call that Daly cherry is not a rep player? seems to not bring a game at rep level every time he gets a crack. Our forwards need to start making a dent and just taking us forward or we won't win a game.

I agree there seemed to be little passion in the jersey, they looked like they expected to win…poor selections and Sheens continued dislike of props comes back to bite him

Blaming Sheens or anyone else for the loss is pointless - New Zealand were just better. For the first time in a long time they had a near full strength roster to choose from - they are the ones that are usually hit by injury to key players in these tests, not us, so the boot was on the other foot this time. The overall calibre of players in the Kiwi side has also lifted immensely from recent years. If these blokes can keep fit and on the field, they will win more test matches than they lose. The era of Australian dominance is over, imo.

didnt catch all of the game but agree with most that there seemed to be a lack of passion in the jersey for sure. all aussie players seemed tired, frustrated and slow- not even any of the debutant's bar tupou, mansour and woods looked interested.

also, farah looked slower than ever- seemed lost. had a really good couple of kicks though but then kicked one straight into foran's lap.

taupau= beast.
blair= mature and a leader. never got the hype around this guy even when he played for storm, now im seeing why we paid big bucks for him- still not worth the $ we allegedly paid for him but still playing smart and tough.

johnson's sooo much like benji, it's crazy.

all in all a disappointing performance. sheens made a couple of blunders with no specialist props and playing a sick GI but imo he was right in picking farah. farah's been there done that and with 4/5 debutants in the team, it'd have been stupid to put hunt there when you have someone with more experience in the squad.

C'mon Geo we could pick 3 sides that could beat NZ.

Unless Sheens is involved anyway

YEP I agree Happy….I'd say we were down to our 4th string side last night....I also think the selectors got it wrong ...How McGuire didn't get picked in the Squad is ludicrous especially after the way he played for Samoa....

Also the injuries that came out of the game would be impossible to cover on the bench....lets see how he responds selection wise from the squad he has against the Poms
