GOOD RECORD OVER SOUTHS AT ANZ STADIUM

Wests Tigers will not only be keen to secure the two vital competition points but will also be hoping their good run of fortune against South Sydney at ANZ Stadium continues this Saturday night in round 22 of the Telstra Premiership.

The two clubs have clashed three times at ANZ Stadium since 2000 with Wests Tigers winning all three encounters, including a 54-20 drubbing there in round 17 last year.

The overall head to head record shows Wests Tigers hold an 8-7 win record from the 15 matches played.

Wests Tigers have also won seven of the last 10 clashes between the two clubs.

The record crowd between the two clubs was set in round 10 this season when South Sydney won 50-10 at the SCG.

Should of been sent off and then scored the winning try from memory. Someone then kicked the conversion from the sideline but I don't think that was him…
 
I remember the 44-4 game well. I thought we were finally going to hold someone to zero and then Merritt scored in the 79th minute with a length of the field job.

I don't remember but probably. It sounds like the kind of thing he'd do.

He came out in the press after the game and accused his team of not trying I think - caused a bit of a stir internally if I am not mistaken
