Great work boys...

Yep, Best game of footy I have been at for a long long time. I was disappointed, but at the same time very very proud. :sign:

Going home gutted to the max , on the train back to Strathfield , but thinking
That was one of the best hames I gave seen he West Tigers play….Awesome effort by all , but Blake was a class above the rest of the team in attack @ his defensive was also fantastic.

I am glad some of you can finally see the qualities that Blake brings to the team - (and has done so in the lower/junior grades especially when the chips are down).

I rate the kid very highly and he proved me right tonight - and he has done so previously without specifically taking the focus!!!

Even MacDougall has finally given him some credit!!!!!!!!!

**And if you cannot see the future of Rob Lui - you don't deserve to watch the game - let alone support this club!!!**

wow…a tad over the top dont you think?

Unbelievable game.

This will be big for the young guys, Lui, Fafita, Ayshord, BM-M & Dwyer

Dunno about this year but this game could hopefully be a springborad for the future

Agree totally, Ink.

Football gods were extremely cruel to us tonight. it's the kind of loss that will be etched in players and fans memories. it won't happen again.
For me, it was a gutsy effort all round. Half a dozen guys had their best games ever for the Tigers. how the roosters hung in in the first 40, and how anasta managed to pop that last play field goal - just things that can happen sometimes.
I'm gutted and proud. I'd actually be OK with a Manly win tomorrow and us to go out on that note. I think i'd prefer that then us travelling to Canberra wounded both physically and mentally with a patched up team and losing for a 2nd week in a row - that could be really demoralising.

Like many I was at the game tonight and was absolutely blown away by the effort in the first half, they really wanted to smash the rooster, if only one of those disallowed tries had come off. I taped the game and just watched the scrum before fulltime as thast stuck in my mind the whole way home and it is difficult to understand why Heighno couldn't fall on that ball. Then I had to look at the Fulton pass that was intercepted for the winning try and it leaves me wondering why with that field position they didn't just work it for a field goal. Full credit to the team for their effort both Heighno and Fulton also did good things, agree with the comments about Ashford but I also thought Lui played well and has improved a lot he is starting to settle in to the top standard of the game.

Agree mate, awesome atmosphere, all the players really put in for one another and gave it their all. Just a shame there was some ordinary referee decisions out there. The Roosters got away with several forward passes and Hayne had a field day letting the Chooks lie all over the ruck.

If the Tigers survive through to next week, it will certainly be a patched up side, but they'll give it their all again. Some promising signs for next season though.
