Gould and the Tigers

He said on MMM this morning he loves the tigers. Goulds grown on me since hes backed off from claiming that he owns the air inside the ball. I cant stand Fittler he just comes across as an uneducated, braindead no hoper who cant string together a few sentences. His bias towards the roosters is unbearable and it made me so angry when he was wearing that raiders jumper last night.
 
I will have to wait to watch the replay to hear the commentray. I wore sportsears at the game last night but the crowd noise was so loud I could hardly hear channel 9, heard the refs no problems though. It could be worse you caould have to listen to fatty vautin every week!!!!
 
yeah your right it could be worse. Vautin Voss and Fittler, thatd be a cracker commentary team. I'm dreading the day when rabbits hangs his tonsils up

I watched the replay on Fox Sports last night and I really got the feeling that Andy Raymond had money on the Raiders just from the way that he was talking, and I know he likes to have a punt on the footy.
In terms of Gus I think that he is very harsh on teams who he doesnt think are playing to their potential but when we are in form, its quite obvious that he loves us.
 
I hate gus gould so much when he talks about the tigers. if they're winning he's their biggest fan but once they start losing he'll talk about how they just don't have what it takes.

Thats exactly how I feel, I used to hate Gould 5 years ago (Funny… I thought Daley was alright back then as well haha).
But he has grown on me, I think he has since he said he love Campbelltown Stadium in 04 I think.
And I agree about Fittler, as soon as I saw him on ch 9 at the start of the year I thought 'Here we go the boys club is at it again' but in a slightly less mannered way :wink: Him swearing while on TV while on the sideline at LO for the Tigers/Canberra match shows it all I think.
It seems like nowadays its your name and reputation as a player that gets you a gig, and that not being able to string two words together doesnt mean a thing (Johns, Fittler and Daley... The 3 premier players from the last 20 years).

Did you see on The Footy Show they made all the panel (Sterlo, Fat, Brohman, Fittler and even Gasnier) wear viking helmets? Although Gasnier took his off pretty quickly.
 
I remember Gould saying on the Sunday roast earlier this year that one of his sons supports the tigers. I usually get the impression he likes the tigers. If he's bagging us he's usually spot on

Yup, agreed. I think, like us, he just gets frustrated seeing them making the same mistake over and over. I'm a fan of Gould, does get annoying when he keeps going on about a certain thing forever though, but generally he's great - footy genius.

I don't mind Freddy, he's hilarious :laughing: Maybe in a bad way, but still…

New Zealand's Sky commentary team however.... embarrassing! :brick:
 
Fittler is a dope, but at least he doesn't pretend to have a brain, can't be said for Daley.

Anyone listen to that sack of crap Raymond and his call for fox? Wonder who he had money on?
 
Gould loves Wests for the way we play the game. In particular, he loves Farah and Benji and would love to see either of them in a Roosters jersey.

Sterlo does not hate us, but he is not our biggest fan. You have to remember, we ended his playing career.
