will you be watching interest to see:
1\. If dragons can keep calm and win?
2\. roosters throw ball around, break dragons reasonable defence and win? :astonished:
3\. who cares, wanna see a good old fashioned hard aggro game, with them both belting the life out of each other??

I may have posted in wrong section, can one of the moderators move it to the reqired area. thanks.

It all comes down to spite for me. I hate both teams a whole heap, but I hate the Dragons, Soward, Cooper, Boyd and their putrid fans more.
Having said that the AFL grand final will hold more interest for me as I hope my magpies don't throw it away again…..

For me it's like voting in a federal election… It's a case of deciding who I hate the least when choosing who I want to win!!!

For the first time in years I won't be watching.

None of the teams in any of the grades appeal to me in any way.

A good long weekend BBQ with some good mates is on the cards though and for that I am always ready for

If anything I want the Dragons to win.

I am sick of the bias reffing and all the 50/50 calls going the way of the Roosters. Ever since the Dally M it has been all about the redemption of Todd Carney. Call me a cynic but the Roosters are getting the same rails run as the Eels last season. The NRL made alot of money off last year and I have no doubt this year is the same

Geez I dunno mate, I havent been following them that closely but I do remember not long ago them all whinging they never win the penalties and are the most penalised team in the comp, stats backing it up apparently.

On topic…continue the Drags pain, long drawn out pain I hope, but really couldnt give a poop

Like I said in a previous post, I hope the Dragons lose to inept refereeing.

I would love for this to happen.

Before Saturdays game I wouldn't have cared for it. Now I hope the Dragons FINALLY get the bad end of the refs. In their last 2 games, the first 12 penalties have gone to the Dragons (7-0 Manly, 5-0 Tigers). I wouldn't mind seeing someone take out Smith either.

Couldn't have said it better myself…

I hope its such a blatant decision(s) that the Dragons are crying for the next 30 years and the Roosters feel completely hollow about winning!

I've got a ticket for Bay 101-2 but I might be selling it to a mate who's a Dragons fan. I'll watch it on tv if I don't go but I don't really care who wins.

This is depressing! I never dreamed that Tigers would be in the GF but coming so close and then not going is soo depressing but not more than not making the 8 at all. So I'm a happy man.

On topic: My second favourite team throughout the 5 years that I been supporting the Tigers has been the Roosters, believe it or not! but I want them to lose coz the last thing I want is this headline: "A fairytale from Wooden Spooners to Premiers" and all the BS about Carney in exile etc.

So yes, it's practically a decision between who do I hate more?

It will be a memorable game as the this will be the last grand final for a while that doesn't feature the Wests Tigers.

Way to bring a smile.

What a great attitude!

I hate the Dragons, their players, their fans.. everything.
Im really hoping that Roosters can get up in this one so the chockers tag can stick with them, because I know how much they hate it.
Hate to say it but.. GO THE ROOSTERS!

Either way its going to be bittersweet for me.

If the Roosters win ill just think 'that could of so easily been us, we were 30 seconds from knocking them out', then there will be this Carney and Fairytale talk.

If the Dragons win then that will end the chokers tag which I love so much, and also it will mean the Tigers aren't the only joint venture to win the comp.

When I weigh those things up, I would say I'm gonna go for the Roosters, I also think Smith deserves a Premiership, I think he's a pretty good coach.

I also want to see Bennett really p**sed off and start having a go at the media and try to defend the chokers tag.

Sunday's NRL grand final between St George and the Sydney Roosters has been sold out.

The NRL issued a statement saying ticketed NRL club members had snapped up the last remaining tickets after approximately 14,000 were released for sale at on Monday morning.

The NRL said it was the first time that tickets to the grand final had sold out at this stage.

Easts would have taken a lot of knowledge away from Saturday's game. They have three very good kickers and once in the red zone, will generate some repeat sets, unlike us. Kicks in general play will be as far away from Boyd as possible and in attack SKD will be seeing plenty of balls, as will Aubisson, from dummy switches, angles and decoys. Minichiello will look to make the extra man at the business end of the tackle count. Defence against Saints is a 'no brainer', as they essentially catch and pass, so the Roosters will slide. The back three from the Roosters will be spending plenty of time on kick returns and the high ball.

I think the Roosters will win. They are a smarter attacking team. They will prove you can go from wooden spooners to premiers in one year.

With the stadium filled with St George supporters I really hope that the roosters win in controversial circumstances

and because there will not be many roosters supporters there, the cameras will show the dragon army in tears yet again

but,

it still wont make me feel any better, so maybe I just wont watch it : :imp: :imp: :imp:
