Stats are on NRL or livescores.ninemsm but are usually corrected/updated couple of days after game.

Neither winger should be considered for NRL at this stage although the Fijian Koribete will push with further development and experience. Has that one big asset that good wingers need SPEED and plenty of it.

Yep, give Koroibete a couple of years, along with Tedesco and Nofoaluma…There's some good talent coming through, and there will need to be given the broom is going through the top squad this year.

WESTS TIGERS BEAT EELS 24-4 IN U20s

Wests Tigers U20s team recorded a solid 24-4 victory over Parramatta Eels at Parramatta Stadium tonight.

The side was boosted with the return of half-back Jacob Miller from the NRL side. The win was Wests Tigers’ third consecutive victory and moves them to 24 points in sixth position.

Wests Tigers opened the scoring in the 20th minute when full-back James Tedesco found open space out wide to send left centre Limoni Kamuta over. The try was a just reward for Wests Tigers after they went close to scoring through winger Marika Koribete and half-back Jacob Miller.

Miller failed to convert the try to give Wests Tigers a 4-0 lead.

The Eels drew level two minutes later when from a scrum win, centre Vai Toutai bumped off four players to score near the posts. The try was not converted by half-back Cameron Breust for a 4-4 scoreline.

Wests Tigers jumped to an 8-4 lead after 33 minutes when prop Sebastian Vourlos scored behind the posts. Miller converted the try for a 10-4 lead.

Three minutes later, Wests Tigers scored in the right corner after quick hands put winger David Nofoaluma over for a 14-4 lead.

2nd Half
A good short ball by captain and prop Neil Begovich hit a gap to race 15 metres to score. Miller failed to convert the try to leave Wests Tigers leading 18-4 after 63 minutes.

A grubber kick by Miller saw Kamuta swoop on the ball to score his second try. Miller converted his second goal of the night for a 24-4 lead after 74 minutes.

I agree there is some great talent coming through. For mine yes Koroibete will make some mistakes but give him the off season with the top squad and play him next year. He has the best attribute a winger need and that is lighting pace. I would prefer him out side either of our centres over Brown and Ryan.

Parramatta go into the match on the back of a 46-16 win over Brisbane at home last Friday night in which full-back Marmin Barba scored three tries.

1\. Marmin Barba Fullback 3 runs (16m)
1\. James Tedesco Fullback 10 runs (161m)

Great work to keep their fullback to only 16m..could hear Tedesco calling Barba whenever he looked like getting the ball.

Tedesco has been talked about for his try scoring ability but its actually his defence which is helping them win games. He currently is equal 3rd in the competition on the Most Try Saves table and he has only played 4 games.
