In August 2013, Grant Mayer was quoted in the Macarthur Advertiser saying the following:

**"Our aim is to be in the top eight next year (2014), the top four the following year (2015) and in 2016 we want to be in the grand final," he said.**

Two years into this three year plan and it is going well indeed…

Here we are in 2015, and we are no closer to achieving anything either on of off the pitch. Our training set up is also the same, so no improvement on that front either.

My question is, when will he announce the next three year plan?

I think it will be just before he gets his own next three year contract.

Where is the CEO he was always speaking out when Potter was being sliced and diced ,maybe he is arranging for Brain Smith to come in for another review. It is a performance based industry so from the quotes above maybe the review should be about his performance.

A lot of people on the forum bagged me for my criticism of Mayer about 12 months ago …........ but two years into his contract he hasnt exactly proved me wrong. I am confident the new board will make the right decision when the time comes sometime in the next 12 months.
