Great news about May - but they need another external forward

Assuming 3 forwards on the bench, we currently have

Prop Rotation
Klemmer
Hunt
May
Twal

2nd Row
Pole (13)
Fainu
Bateman
Seyfarth

Depth
Johannssen
Kit
Matamua
Tumeth
Sukkar
Porter

The starting looks good with May added, but our depth is pretty shaky. If we can move on Tumeth, Sukkar and/or Matamua and get 2 fwds, then we'll be looking much better.

Resigning Sam Fainu would be one, then a promising edge.

I am with you on this one. While May is a good signing he hasn't elevated us too much over what we were running around with this season.

Ideally two more signings would probably provide what we need. Sione F. internally and one experienced FG lock/second row. While Bateman hasn't been brilliant and his discipline was poor I think him having to fight for a spot will do him and the team good. If he can't value add in attack with Hunt bending the line and potentailly Bird providing some options at 13 then he can pack his bags in 26 (giving time for Richo to do some deal).

In the short term I trust that someone (St Merge?) picks up AD leaving us with a junior forward on a low contract value and duration to offload (Tumeth perhaps?).

Were running out of spots ..and also running out of $$..but a big bodied 2nd rower cld be very useful in making our pack competitive in 2025
Samuela will step up,but unsure about Bateman...and the kids are tiny

Pity we don’t have a Simon Dwyer clone about to jump out of our Pathway system. We have been screaming out for a damaging back rower for as long as a damaging centre!!
Probably been greedy but a top notch backrower added to what we have and your talking final footy

I think Sukkar will surprise a few next season.
