Greyhounds Anyone interested in a purchase

Some time back a few on the old forum(I think) tried to organise a greyhound syndicate. Did it ever kick off or not?

Have found this site off which I have actually purchased an interest in a greyhound pup. Good site and very helpful for anyone interested.

Our budget is $5000 to kick us away with a pup through to 16 months old.
10% - $500
5% - $250
2.5% - $125

PAYMENTS ARE STAGGERED TO HELP PEOPLE JOIN.
Half of the amount will be due when we fill a syndicate, the remaining amount staggered over 4 monthly payments.

5% Admin

Gee that was quite a while ago but strangely I was only thinking of it recently.

Hows that website work Tigesup? Do they organize the dogs once the syndicates organized themselves?

I'd love to be involved but have only just hopped on the
mortgage merry go round so im tighter than a fishies a ole at the mo

Hey Ink they organise dogs then put them up for syndication. They usually keep a % of dog for themselves and syndicate the rest. These are only pups mind you.

Up to the individual what % of the syndicate they sign up for then the payment is for ownership of dog and rearing/breaking in etc.Up to the age of 16 months all costs covered.

They usually then put dogs with trainers and organise 50/50 prizemoney split. So there are no training fees but anything earned by the dog over $200 is shared between syndicate and trainer. Normal programmed vet checks are covered but any unscheduled vet fees, out of the ordinary costs etc are incurred by the syndicate.

I'm giving it a go and I'd like to see some WestsTigers fan get on board this syndicate they are trying to form
