I mean lets be realistic there was a giant Halatau banner at games all the time he played like a busted arsehole for all but about 10 games from 2006 to last seasons end. People with banners tend to have loyalty to the banner subject regardless of anything else

That banner is lucky it still exists. I actually had it in my possession and it was at my house for quite a while. It wouldn't have been in Melbourne Round 1, 2007 if it wasn't for me. I was forced to take it on the train with me. Now that I think about it, if something did happen to that banner then I probably wouldn't exist.

In 2006 some of them reckoned Fitzfumble should have been in the NSW State of Origin team. LOL
To some it is no piss take. Some take it very seriously.
Myself - I like Fitzy, But honestly as much as I like the guy I don't see the need for him this season.
I was in the FWO side of the saga before he left, and I thought the FWO would be just a memory thereafter. But we still had the odd joke among friends about it and for a laugh we would joke 'bring back fitzy'. But now it seems the joke is a reality and I'm not laughing anymore.
It is through no fault of Daniel's own that I don't like his selections each week. He is a decent guy and does ok. But he isn't spectacular and not needed. And now (like Ink said) some of the dribble in here is insulting and a piss take (whether it be in praise or critical).
It has just gone beyond the joke now. This is ridiculous!!

the FWO is dumb people who think hes a good player are dumb, the only people who can relate to him are a bunch of mis-fits who probably had no friends at school and decided to form their own degenerate "fanboy club". To cheer someone is one thing but to carry on about a player who wouldnt be picked at any other nrl club is sad and pathetic.
its like a bronx cheer for eric the eel back at the sydney olympics only its inour face season after season - the last couple have been good without him here only really hearing from his number 1 fan boy crouching tiger, just wish you hobbits would crawl back in your holes.
do something positive and make a "world order" to some of our players who deserve it not some glorified park footy player
