always been a fan of this blokes, but was really impressed with him at the nines, his D was good, and he likes to come out and put a hit on, plus looks like he has the speed to cover if it doesn't come off.

hopefully will be a really handy pickup if he can stay on the park and be consistent.

PLUS the hairstyle is awesome!

Add that vital few centimetres in height under the high ball…I think he will see plenty of first grade this year

It'll be his downfall if it rains ( he'll be top heavy) lol

I think happy said in another thread he was short and someone else corrected him saying he was about 5'11.
I think happy may have been right and that figure included about 4" of hair

I was vey impressed with his performances when he was given a chance at the Knights.
Not sure what happended last year at the Panthers, but he looks a definite first grader to me.
He will get some runs this year I'm sure and when Richards finishes up (I think at end of year), he will be a walk up start if he shows the same form he did at 9s.

I like him a lot…..

I thought the same, when he came on at the Knights, he was at the start of a decent career. Defn a good depth pickup, of all the experienced NSW cup players going around who could still make it in firsts.

Best haircut in ages, but I expect he'll cut it for the regular season.

He's taller than Kevin Locke or Matt Bowen and they managed to make pretty good careers under the high ball. I still don't know why people are complaining about it tbh

I hate his haircut, and worry about his height; high ball is so important in the modern game. Anyone suggesting he would be a better option than Nofo and Richards is kidding themselves. Looks like an adequate depth signing.

He has been listed at 170 cm and 179 cm by two different sources

Wikipaedia has him at 179 cm so I guess we go with that

Fit looking fellow. Looks like he has decent speed too. Hopefully he's in for a good year with us.

I like the Hair,

As a Man rapidly approaching "middle aged" who looks like a slightly less built Bill Goldberg I would swap hairstyles.

this is the player we should be talking about after the nines.
really impressed with his defensive reads throughout.
played every game and didn't concede any points down his side apart from the kick from simona that was returned and gave him no chance to stop the play, forced 2 turnovers and made some great decisions to not only come out the line and shut down the movement, but make a dominating tackle in the process.

the play that you said he came out the line he made sure he put enough pressure on the ball carrier but didn't over commit and was able to use his speed to get his man.

i like to watch backs in the nines and how they handle being put on an island and what decision they make.

i would love to see taylor give him some time in the centres during the trials.
i think he reads the play better than lawrence and simona and looks a better tackler than both.
looks to have some ball skills too.

very encouraging signs so far.
has he just played wing at previous clubs or does he have some experience in the centres?

You have to meet my friend who could quite easily pass for Kane
