Halatau

This is the guy that deserves a wrap. He made so many critical tackles and did basically everything right. Every game he has given us quality play with minimal if any errors.

He has been a great buy when I thought that he would be a dud.

Yeah agree and some of his barging runs close to the line (like tonight's try) are like his 2005 form! I didn't think we'd ever see that sort of running from him again.

Was just about to start a similar thread mate.

God I love him, an out and out out true footballer.

Been a fan since day one, he may not be as good as he was but at least you know what you are going to get.

As one of his biggest critics at the start of the year I take my hat off to him. He was super tonight in a well beaten team. Hasn't put a foot wrong all year.

I actually think he should be starting and Lovett can go back to reggies.

Do we actually have 2nd rowers in out team??? Lovett is not NRL standard and Sirro is only there by name…

I'll say I was the first to bag him out this year. He was great tonight and has been for a while now.

If only the others showed the same application.

Got laughed at before season started when I said halatau would be great value especially around origin time with Robbie away. He has been rock solid all year and I suggest would not be out of place starting instead of Lovett.

He was great switched between lock and backrow with Marty for a while and as someone in the past not noted for his defence he was a rock…in amongst the pebbles our right edge defence was tonight...

Well Done Dene

Always thought that the criticism he received even last year was unwarranted. He's been even better this year.

He just runs the right lines, always there in cover and knows when to take a hit or pass. Hope he starts instead of Lovett.
