Happy Easter guys and girls of this magnificent forum...this time of year is a wonderful time of year to reflect on our lives and family values,stay safe have a wonderful weekend culminating with a win against the Eels...Not only do we have our blood families we also have great families of friends who we love as much as our own....

It's been quite the downer on here lately and I had thought about posting something about sport and perspective - thanks @Suzie-Q

When my nephew was young and about to play his first game I asked him a question:

"Do you know why they call it a game?"
Shakes his head.
"Because you're supposed to have fun."

We can all get caught up with emotion - and that only proves how passionate sport can make us.

Our society places a warped importance on sport, but in the greater scheme it really is just a game.

Turnstyle,I have always admired and backed your positive honest posts....I have written mine from the heart...I have had much heartache and pain in the last 4/5 years ,but have always respected others situations and predicaments...You are 100 percent correct that this is only a game,its up to others to make this club and team work,thats what they get paid for,we as members and supporters have a RIGHT to vent our arguements in a RESPECTFUL manner..after all we PAY for that privaledge....
I only want to say,that beside our sporting interests and other interests in life we MUST ALWAYS respect others even though they may not be blood relatives...WE ARE ALL GODS CHILDREN and we should appreciate each and everyone else on this planet we call home..
GOD BLESS and please Love and look after each other...
