HARRY

gee there are a lot of hatefull people on this forum who jump at the smallest chance to have a dig at peoples comments.my thread was to let everyone know he was top dog in terms of wealth, then my further comment was tonque in cheek about how he could put in without missing it, NOTE i ended with lol. some people on hear yes wanted him to do more but its because we cant and we think he can, and none of us on here know how much he gives. but the people who are trying to shoot others down for wanting OUR TEAM to become better should have to put up with nasty comments.

I agree with bp tiger. Geez I'm the cheapest person I know and if I had a billion dollars even I'd be prepared to throw a couple of million at the Tigers to get them to win the comp.

You can't take it with ya HARRY.
Aren't you tired of watching the 05 GF replay yet?
Don't you want to see the WT hoist the tropy again before you kick the bucket?
Cmon HARRY money doesn't make you happy, winning football clubs do.
How much money do you need before you're satisfied?
You're not a real diehard are you Harry?
Hahaaaaaaaaaaa

How? Illegally? As Parra are trying to defend now?

It doesn't matter how rich the benefactor is, the club has to play within the rules or face the consequences.

We should be thankful for what Harry has done for us so far.

I don't know if the OP was saying Harry does not do TPAs, because according to TT he does 4 TPAs - if I recall in for Woods, Tedesco, Brooks and Moses, totally about $500K p.a.

Could he afford to give more? For sure. But I'm happy with what is already going in.

I sat with Harry for a short time at a game a few weeks ago. He does contribute to TPA's. He lost faith in previous management and that's why he pulled sponsorship. But he's a big fan of Justin Pascoe and thats why he's still contributing

The previous management has a lot to answer for in respect to this club squandering huge amounts of money, hence the situation we are in now…boards instability, lack of financial acumen and salary cap deficiency have all contributed ....no wonder Harry had little faith in the management as he watched them squander monetary input from him...
I have all the praise in the world for HT and as a previous Balmain and now a stern WTs supporter Iam very grateful to him for his continued support over many years...many should be grateful he never turned his back on us as he rightly should have after being treated the way he has over years...he really is a CLUB icon....

In an ideal world it would be brilliant to see Harry throw in 5 mil to the Campbelltown Centre of Excellence, that would really help boost the facility with additional high performance/rehab equipment/facilities.

It dates back through numerous management teams

Look at the Benji / Humphries situation

The players owned the club for many years , that is why it is so hard to take it back

Honour Harry for his generosity because I have extremely rich relos who collectively would not give you the hole out of their pants.

Humphreys was a lame duck CEO as any CEO would have been after the board sacked Longmuir for wanting to put KPIs on the football department. No wonder Harry lost faith with previous management. The old board were contemptible rubbish which put us in hole we're still trying to crawl out of.

im sure harry has already thrown in many millions. hes said before being our major sponsor didnt help him out much since he wasn't really targeting your average footy fan to sell massive developments to, or buy luxury apartments.

the investment is most likely more like seven figures, and you dont become a billionaire spending tens of millions on just cause youre a nice guy and feel like doing that for no real return.

Thanks for that story. It's great to hear your input on what it takes to make a billionaire. Personally I couldn't care less. I'm interested in the Tigers winning games. I'd like Harry to throw in more money.
