Harsh reality

The Tim Sheens dismissal is still causing ructions at Wests Tigers - his comments that Robbie Farah and Benji Marshall led to his dismissal are an issue. Marshall has taken up the matter with Sheens - Farah is choosing to ignore it, saying: ''That's the past''. What has been ignored is the Tigers' lack of results in recent years. Sheens did very well winning a comp in 2005 when they rode home on Marshall's brilliance - but since that time results have been scarce. Far worse than the lack of results is the questionable recruitment. The signing which has caused the most angst among the players was Adam Blair from the Storm. He was paid $550,000 - a hefty price for a forward - but worse, Bryce Gibbs and Andrew Fifita had to be let go and paid out so they could play at the Sharks. The turnaround means Blair in effect cost the Tigers about $800,000 a year. Sheens was his strongest advocate. Senior players didn't roll Sheens - they were asked their view but declined to get involved. Recruitment and results hurt Sheens in the end.

This is pretty obvious isn't it. I don't know why Sheens doesn't just go away.

Weidler ,you are just a turd.

how many times do we have to keep reading this.
he was sacked ages ago.

if i'm running the smh i would be asking why he doesn't have something more than this rehashed crap.

Cause he's owed a massive amount of money steve….only a BS artist would say they'd do otherwise

I disagree. He was sacked and rightfully so. I bet he has plenty of dollars and if not its not our fault he has spent too much.

He should show some respect to the club and go away. The players and management were bloody good to him.

Mate that's not how contracts work either he is owed money or he isn't . Do you reckon bill gates says ahh people don't have to pay for windows anymore cause I have plenty even though they signed a contract saying they would

Just drip feed him for the next two years and stop him from what he wants to do… Coach first grade. If he wants out to coach for another side, he forfeits his payout. If he wants his money, he can't coach elsewhere and can sit and watch the game pass him by for two seasons.

He's entitled to the money he's owed, doesn't mean he deserves it though.
