Has anyone seen Rowdy in the Lowe's catalogue ??

I think it could have been one of his major problems, he got quite bulky (muscle), and lost lateral movement, and sped off the mark, he also did have a foot injury for most of last year, which did not heal.

Each player has an ideal weight to strength ratio, I think rowdy was too heavy last year for optimal performance, but only time will tell I guess.

but rowdy wasn't even CLOSE to optimal performance. if he wants to return to 2010 form he has to sort both the hip and the foot out, else he'll have no chance.

think about it in 100m terms. lets say last year he was running 12.50 100s, he loses 5 kilos and runs a 12.1 100\. What he NEEDS to do is fix up the long term injuries and start running 11.1sec times. THAT will allow him to get back to his best.

let's hope extended rehab and the preseason allows him to!

you're both right. hip has to support head arms and trunk. having a busted hip AND having increased upper body weight caused his downfall. but as always, i have faith in rowdy- he'll be back: meaner, fitter, stronger, faster!!
