Has Taumata become the forgotten man?

I watched Arana play those FG games for the bulldogs. From what i remember he was electric. Does anyone have some footage or link to same? Do you think our coaching staff have the goods to put this guy on the right path to find his potential?

I reckon they should try Taumata at fullback. Imagine having Taumata, Marshall, Moltzen, and Farah in the same side for the whole 80 mins! I would almost feel sorry for the other teams.

It's a travesty that Fitzy is in the 17 ahead of Taumata. I have a feeling he has been given a couple of months away from the lime light of the NRl to settle back into things. If he stays clean - I can see Lui returning to U20's and this kid moving straight into the No.7 by May/June. He and Benji would kill it - the most potent half - 5/8 combination in the NRL for mine.

Given he is injured and not even playing for BRET it is not so much choosing Fitzy over him. It's just selecting Fitzy

So little info here guys …yes he is huge risk for the club and sure we will hide him for a while to keep his ego/fists at bay but Taumata is a hidden gem and that's why he is here. Love him anywhere on the team but I think Sheensy has him earmarked him for the bench, in the exact spot Fitzy is playing this weekend ...and if thats the case, and he keeps his s$%t together, every other backline should be fearing us

in 2008 with the dogs in the 5 games he played he carved up big time

5 games 3 tries 2 assists not a bad record

2 of those tries were 60m + specials. Split the line and kept on going. No one got near him.
Definitely is very very quick.
