Hayne quits NFL

There is no doubt that a signing like Hayne would restore all faith in management. He would be worth every penny.

It would bring new and old members. It would get fans through the turnstiles.

Hayne's signature would turn our team from also-rans to a team that other players would find attractive.

Find the cap space, shuffle and clear the decks (except Teddy), buy him a house on Darling Street, get his mum a house next door. Bloody hell get his whole family houses.

Do whatever it takes to sign Hayne. He is a one-off. He is amazing.

Now is our chance to form a company for a third party deal.
I'm pretty sure everyone would want Hayne so it's not like there would exactly be an argument as to how to use the funds. Surely we could get 5,000 people to commit to $100 each.
Someone just needs to get in touch with Tigers management and Wayne Beavis and see if a $500k third party deal would sway him.

Certainly, where is TT at?

Sounds good. I'll just have to check my bank account first and see if someone has dumped 500 grand in there that I haven't noticed….............just like what happened to Hayne apparently.
He is in this Parra shiftiness up to his sack, pretty sure bet that he will weasle his way out of it though. Just pretend it didn't happen. If only it was that easy for the average Joe Blow.

We would have a more realistic chance luring Norman if Parra made a play for Hayne.
The salary cap scam will most likely deter him returning to the eels though.

Retired from NFL….
Lol, sounds like a real thing.

= Unwanted / not good enough (better than me) for the NFL.

Maybe the coaching staff, told him that he has already peaked physically a few years ago, and simply won't be effective in the NFL.
As for the Olympics, good on him for taking a chance to play union for Fiji.

It would be a great honour for me to represent Australia at the Olympics, **sadly they don't have an under arm fart noises category. **

This is a perfect opportunity for this club to be elite…

Could you Imagine Teddy and Hayne linking up together!

Pascoe do whatever you can do to bring him to this club ASAP..

Offer him whatever he wants and more he'll be worth every penny..

Now how do we get this money, Now for the people saying sell both Moses and Brooks wake up!

We have to sell either Brooks or Moses even though I rate Moses over Brooks, Brooks would be better for a combination with Hayne, because Brooks has a better kicking game than Moses and Hayne sort of lacks a kicking game.... BUT Moses is a natural 7 and he's kicking game can imporve

I'm sort of undecided who I would get rid of cause they both play well without each other... Brooks's game against Souths and Moses's game against Warriors prove this!

Farah frees up 900K, either Brooks/Moses frees up 600k, Lawerence's new contract frees up 200k, get rid of Siro 350k and help from Harry T (Money isn't an issue)

Give Tedesco a 400K upgrade (Siro's money) Offer Hayne 1.25 ( Brooks/Moses and Farah = 1.5 mil)
\
\
2017 Team List?

1\. James Tedesco- 900K
2\. David Nofaluma- 250K
3\. Kevin Naquima - 250K
4\. Tim Simona - 300K
5\. Denny Solomona - 200K
6\. Jarryd Hayne - 1.25 M
7\. Luke Brooks or Mitchell Moses - 600K
8\. Aarion Woods 800K
9\. Matt Ballin - Peanuts thanks to Marty 100K
10\. Tim Grant- 150K (from our side)
11\. Sauso Sue - 250K
12\. Chris Lawrence - 300K
13\. Elijah Taylor - 300k

14\. Nathan Brown- 200K
15\. Josh Alioai - 100K
16\. JJ Felise - 80K
17\. Rod Grffin/ MCK - 80K

Total pay= 6.1 million - 600K TPA from Harry he agreed on ( resigning of Woods, Teddy and Broses)

Harry will chip in more if we spend it on Hayne that's for sure, give Hayne's mum a million dollar apartment in the city Harry lol...

I know it's a long post but I'm really trying to get the point across that we can afford Hayne, us as fans should be trying everything we can to sign a player of Hayne's skill as he would bring a lot of media and sponcership to the club.

I know it's a long shot for him to come to the Tigers but it's a possibility!

If we sign Hayne I will personally fund the manufacturing and distribution of 5,000 flags at the stadium when we make the finals.

Yeah know the feeling , when they bring relay rum drinking to the 2020 Olympics I'm sure to have a chance of representing our wonderful country

The only problem I see with relay rum drinking is when the all in brawl erupts in the Final :roll

I don't get the hate over Hayne "leaving" the NFL and accepting Fiji's offer.

Ok I'll bite

Firstly making a career from a sport is playing more than 8 games

What Mason Cox has achieved at Collingwood is far more remarkable

Hayne was going to be ranked as the 6th best kick returner /running back and wasn't going to see any time in regular season games

For Hayne to be a true success he had to make it through at least a second season , the 49rs were always going to struggle to make the play offs and probably used him as a marketing tool

That is why he was leaving for Rugby Union

Secondly he is joining one of the most likely teams to win a medal at the Olympic's and is only doing it for his ego

I hope he fails at this as well

I'm sure Hayne sees himself at the Hayne Train Incorporated

I see Hayne as a bloke who hasn't even won a premiership and probably was getting under the table cash payments and helped Parramatta to the crisis they now see themselves in

Hope he ends up in French or Japanese Rugby and we never see or hear from him again

Exactly Happy.
Why is he playing for Fiji? Could it be that they are gold medal favorites whilst Australia- the country he lives in, was raised in and whom he represented in League languishes just inside the top 10 in the world. It was fine for him to play for the Kangaroos because they were favorites for the world cup. Now he wants an Olympic gold medal so Australia doesn't suit.

What's next?
T20 cricket for Wests indies?
Netball for Australia?
Test match Union for the All Blacks?
F1 driver for Mercedes?

Was interested when he moved to NFL and followed his progress to see how he went and wished him well.
Now that he is doing a SBW and just feeding his ego I can't wait to see the back of him.
As mentioned in another post he is so dead-set on representing Fiji only because they are his best chance at impostering himself a gold medal. He didn't seem so intent on representing his "much loved" Fiji in RL when there was an opportunity for him to ditch Fiji and play for Australia to better his chances of winning a RL World Cup. He's a flog.
Maybe he should try his hand at Olympic hurdling…......he could practice by jumping over his ego.

If 'playing in the Olympics' was his dream he;'d be trialling with Australia's sevens squad, alongside Parahi. We're pretty average and he would have had a decent chance to make the squad. Instead he's suddenly incredibly proud of his Fijian heritage and wants to play for them (the fact they're gold medal favourites had no impact on his decision whatsoever i'm sure!).

The sheer arrogance of the man who thinks he not only can but should replace an existing member of the best sevens team in the world despite never having played the sport before is ludicrous and insulting.

Competing at the Olympics isn't his dream. His dream is to have a gold medal on his shelf at home. He would then change to his real life-long dream of joining the WWE, after playing for Man United.

I for one hope he doesn't make the squad (he was apparently crap on the weekend) and that was even with 5-6 regulars rotated out of the squad to give other guys a go.

I'd love to see Fiji win the Gold with a bunch of players who've been working their bums off over hte past few years and getting excellent results. He's simply too late to the party to even be considered and is just using them as a short term fix to save face after getting dropped frmo the 49ers.

I've lost all respect I had for this man now.

Personals I can't see him making the Fijian side. If they are going to select players on foam. He looked slow and unfit compared to the other Fijian players. He didn't play many minutes and made some bad reads around the ruck.
It's been said you could pick four Fijian sides that would be in the Top ten 7s sides, they have a heap of depth.
