He's played 1 NRL game, why on earth would he ever consider signing a contract extension right now? He'd be a fool to even entertain the idea

Plenty of time to sort a possible deal out. Club needs to make sure the team performs and they're in his ear about staying constantly.

both 5 year deals for him and Samuela where low ball deals , embarrassing /insult ?

Very solid in the centres today, kept his opposite very quiet today, was concerned i though the did his ankle today at one stage, we cant afford to be two centres down this early in the season

Solid but got caught out in defence by Drinkwater 3 or 4 times but thats happened to much more experienced centres.

Hopefully we can get Toa and May back and he gets most of the season on the wing although has lots of competition in Skelton

If he's enjoying himself and want security, why not. The kid can become extremely wealthy overnight.

Issue is no one really knows what he he will be worth next year let alone in 3 or 4 years. Including the club, his manager and Masi himself. Locking himself into a contract for 5 years just seems unneccesary at this point.

Thought he played well despite a couple tries running through him. There was clearly a plan to disrupt the Warriors right side attack, which had been strong this season. He executed a couple of great defensive maneuvers to shut down a few dangerous looking shifts.

Centre is definitely his position. With the right management he'll be a star.

His defence was good last night essentially one on one. Seem to sort out his combination with other defenders as the night went on. He was always going to be tested, I think he’s doing a great job for a kid who’s played three games at centre.

Yeah he seems to be in the thick of it at the moment.

Gaining some awesome experience, it's like the opposition are saying to him, 'dont get too big for your boots just yet sonny'

He seems to be handling okay, he'll never say he needs a rest but it might be a good idea.
