Turuva is also a problem. Only ‘good’ position for him is wing but he is too short and too slow to be a good winger. Yet he’s here long term, paid well and another part of the boys club because he cracks jokes

I think Toa is not fit and May of course. Even Herbert was injured there for a bit. After them we’ve got nothing. Couple that with our best edge players being out and we end up with zero D or A on our edges.
The modern game is way too dependent on quality edge players for us to compete with the third rate options we have.

He was on fire at the start of the year though.
 
Another junior we are doing our best to destroy .....leave the kid in KOE along with Hayward and Andrews for the next 18 months
Let them mature like other juniors at other clubs do

At least NSW Cup for the rest of this season on the left wing or to rehab now before pre-season.
 
Still not worried about him.

Struggling at the moment in a rubbish team but the experience will help him. The seasons over so he should get as much NRL experience as possible.

If he’s making the same mistakes this time next year I’ll start to be concerned.

He’ll still be a teenager this time next year.

More likely that the player, the physio and Benji discuss each individual case on a week to week basis with the player making that final decision. The only pressure would come from the mindset that nobody wants to let their team mates down.

They all need shoulder reconstructions hence why/hope they are playing so badly!
We are famous for burning out your kids way too early. Nothing has changed.

I agree, however a lot of us here had him in our team list to start the year.

I think if we kept him exclusively on the wing he would have performed better and been less exposed. I know we have had some injuries and depth issues in the centres but Maka should not have been the one moved. Very difficult to defend for an inexperienced player, and given no effective ball in attack either

He’ll have just turned 20 but I expect him to be a first grader by then.

Won’t be until he’s about 22-23 that he’ll start to live up to the hype.

Needs luck with injuries and better players around him but the talent hasn’t disappeared

Mate he has been hopeless this year. Complete fish out of water.
Benji and the coaching staff should be dragged for the way they’ve managed the start of his career.
If I was his father I’d be doing everything I could to get him out of this club.

I don't think Benji is stupid enough to not realise the damage constant changing is doing to guys like Tavana, Makasini and even Sukkar or Sam Fainu not having a steady center with them.

Maybe he's just over thinking and making wrong decisions.

Benji needs a lot of help...
